Amaç Erdem.
I'm an independent builder. My main project is Musical Intelligence — a system-computational-neuroscience model of auditory cognition built bottom-up from peripheral perception through cognitive belief states.
This Migros Sales Intelligence site is a portfolio piece. It started as a Power BI tutorial assignment and became an argument about choosing the right medium for a question — and a working demonstration that one engineer can ship a polished, interactive analysis in the time it takes to configure a Power BI workspace.
I treat data problems the way I treat engine problems: the structure first, the rendering second.
BI craft is mostly about choice — which tool, which medium, which format. Power BI is the correct answer to a very specific set of questions: shared workspaces, scheduled refresh, governance, Excel-native business users. For those, nothing replaces it.
For other questions — a public case study, an embedded dashboard, an analyst-to-analyst handoff over a URL — the same loop fits in a few megabytes of static files on a CDN. No license. No login. No install. Just SQL in a browser tab.
This site is built to make that argument concrete, not abstract.

This site is a portfolio piece. The Migros data is proprietary case material from BI-Boost and is not redistributed; the code itself is private — reach out for read access.
Thanks for spending the time. The code is honest, the SQL is real, the data is whole.
